According to U.S. News, here are some of the top schools you should consider as you begin your career:

University of Charleston--Their four-year Radiologic Program will prepare you for the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) credential test (AART). Their Bachelor in Radiologic Science degree program includes 56 credits of Radiologic Science, 18 credits of Health Science core, 15 credits of Science and Mathematics, and 39 credits of Liberal Learning Outcomes. You'll also complete about 1,250 hours of clinical work.

University of Iowa—Over 100 students are enrolled annually in their radiation science educational programs. These include a BS in Radiation Sciences, Radiologic Technology, Nuclear Medicine, Radiation Therapy and Sonography.

University of St. Francis in Joliet, IL—Their 2+2 Bachelor of Science Radiography program starts with two years of liberal and pre-professional science education courses and continues at the Swedish American Health System in Rockford, Ill or Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, IL. After completion of the professional education component of the degree, graduates are eligible to take the national ARRT certification exam.
